Chuck McGowan, 53, Jamestown, Ky, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at UK Medical Center.
Mr. McGowan was born January 12, 1955 in Russell County to Audrey Tucker McGowan, who survives him and the late Tulsey B. McGowan.
Besides his mother, he is survived by one son Charles McGowan of Atlanta GA; one stepson, Eric Robertson of Richmond, KY; one step grandchild, Parker Reece Robertson; four brothers, Coy, Drew, and Limmy McGowan all of Jamestown and Don McGowan of Russell Springs; two sisters, Kay Shearer of Jamestown and Lana White of Ashland, KY.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by one sister, Shar Wooldridge; and four brothers Doyle, David, Winston and Timmy McGowan.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Brockman officiating. Special music provided by Higginbothams and Rick Mann.
Interment was in Jamestown Cemetery.
Pallbearers were; Travis McGowan, Tyler McGowan, Trey McGown, Nick Shearer, Keven Shearer, and Seth Oakes.
