Byron K. McGlothlin, 55, of Lafayette, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 19, 1956 in Lafayette to the late Harry and Marian Maxine McGlothlin. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Diana McGlothlin Livengood Brost and a half brother, Harry McGlothlin Jr.
Surviving are a daughter, Sarah McGlothlin of Lafayette; a son, Adam McGlothlin (fiancée: Sam) of Bloomington; a brother, Gary Lee McGlothlin (wife: Ethel) of Griffin, Ga.; a half brother, Raymond McGlothlin of Nashville, Indiana; a half sister, Elizabeth Pearson of Lafayette and a grandson, Jackson Isaac McGlothlin.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
