Funeral service for Mary Geneva Cogburn, 80, was conducted Saturday afternoon in the Heart O' Hills Baptist Church near Summerfield. She died March 12 in the Poteau hospital. Rev. O.J. Looper officiated at services with burial in the Summerfield Cemetery under direction of Dowden Funeral Home. Born October 27, 1888 in Arkansas, Mrs. Cogburn had been a resident of Summerfield for some 55 years. Survivors include four sons, Dewey of Summerfield, Oather of Spiro, Prentiss of Oxnard, Calif., Marshall of New Hall, Calif.; three daughters, Lona Robinson of Summerfield, Opal Hemphill and Bonnie Newton, both of Kansas City; three brothers, Dave McGee of Wilburton, George McGee of Albion, and Tom of Clayton; two sisters, Ida Booth of Hugo and Bessie Dixon of Ardmore; 18 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
