John B McGee, 85, of Livingston died Saturday morning, 25 Mar 1995 at Livingston Convalescent Center. Cremation followed and he was buried in the Lincoln Gulch Cemetery.

Mr McGee was born 13 Apr 1909 in Stillwell, Adair Co, OK, the son of Charles and Addie (Parsons) McGee. He spent his early life and received his education there and also worked on various ranches in the area. In the early 1930s he moved to California and worked on the construction of Camp Pendleton Marine and Naval Base.

Mr McGee married Jessie Brown in 1944 and they were later divorced. In the late 1930s he moved to the Oregon coast where he began work as a logger and in 1957 came to Livingston. Here he worked as a logger with Birkeland Studs and several other area logging contractors. he later moved to Lincoln where he logged until 1986 at which time he became a supervisor for Lewis & Clark Co. He retired in 1990 at the age of 81. He loved to fish and hunt.

Survivors include two sons, Johnny C McGee of Livingston and Bob McGee of Green River, WY; a daughter Pam McGee of Gresham, OR; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
