Helen Booz Bosserman, 86, passed away July 12, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. Born August 24, 1925 in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Smith McElwee.
She was a member of Shippensburg Church of the Brethren and the Sebring Church of the Brethren in Florida. Helen was a former member of the Ladies Auxilliary of West End Fire and Rescue in Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald R. Booz, Sr, who passed away March 5, 1984, Harry F. Burkholder, who passed away August 3, 1993 and the Rev. Willis O. Bosserman who passed away August 13, 2000; two brothers and three sisters are also deceased.
She is survived by a son, the Rev Dr. Donald R. Booz and his wife Cindy of Upland, California, a daughter, Barbara A. Foster and her husband Marvin of Lebanon, a sister, Sarah Franklin of Shippensburg, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous step-children, step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
