MRS. VICTOR S. BEAM
Mrs. Ethel McElroy Beam, sixty-eight, wife of Victor S. Beam, Geigerstown, Berks County, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after a long illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Mary Jane McElroy and was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Short Hills, N.J. She was past president of the Maplewood, N.J., Parent-Teachers' Association. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Mrs. John S. Osborne, New Canaan, Conn., and Mrs. Richard Bateson, Beaufort, S.C. Two grandchildren also survive.
BEAM - Entered into rest in Geigerstown on Sept. 18, 1945, Mrs. Ethel McElroy Beam, in her sixty-ninth year. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the late home at 2 o'clock. Interment in Old Leacock Presbyterian church Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the late home.
