Elder Christine M. Washington - McDuffie, a native of Mobile, Alabama, departed this life on Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was born July 1, 1942 to the union of the late Tom and Ernestine Washington. She was the youngest of ten siblings of whom eight preceded her in death. Ernestine Washington, Annette Finkley, Catherine Finkley, James Lee Casher, Eugene Casher, Andrew Nettles, Albert Finkley, Leroy Finkley. She leaves to cherish her precious memories three sons, Charles (Carolyn) Pettway of Lancster, PA; Patrick Washington, Manhattan, New York; Gregory Phinicee of Atlanta, Georgia. One devoted brother, Robert (Mary) Finkley of Detroit, Michigan, two grandsons, Gregory Pettway, El Paso, TX and Courtney Pettway of Lancaster, PA; two great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 9-11AM funeral hour from the Prayer Tabernacle E.C.O.J.C. 1223 Mobile St., Bishop Cornelius W. Woods I, Pastor and officiating Minister. Interment will be in Prichard Memorial Cemetery.
