Services for Evelyn Elscott, 70, of Grinnell, who died of a heart ailment on Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Burial in Newton Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton.
Mrs. Elscott was a longtime resident of Lynnville and moved to Grinnell a few years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Harry; two sons, Gaylord of Lynnville, and Gail of Grinnell; a brother, Delton McDowell of Fort Dodge; a sister, Gloria Mason of Kellogg; and four grandchildren.
