JEFFERSON BEE - Wednesday, September 13th, 1916 - Mrs Hester Neville, mother of C.C. Baker, of the Cooper locality died at his home last week, and burial was made at Cooper with services by Rev. Wills of Jefferson. Mrs. Neville's maiden name was McDugel. She was wedded to William B. Baker many years ago being the mother of five children. After his death she wedded William Neville, of Odebolt who now survives her. She was a member of the United Brethren church, having joined in early youth.
Franklin Township - Mrs. W.T. Neville, mother of John and Charles Baker, of this township, died very suddenly at her home in Lake View last week. Her remains were shipped to Cooper for burial. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, Chas. Baker, Rev Wills officiating. A good woman has gone to her reward. The bereft friends have the deep sympathy of all.
