"Jessie J. McDonald, 88, a resident of 410 14th Ave., W., died Saturday night. A retired carpenter, he had lived here since 1923, coming from Thomson, Ga.

He was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sancil McDonald; three sons, George R. McDonald, Leesburg, O. B. McDonald, Charleston, S. C., and Ollin McDonald, Bradenton; five daughters, Mrs. Josephine Parker, Mrs. W. B. Sadler, both of Bradenton, Mrs. Lena Young, Thomson, Mrs. Winton [sic] Johnson, Ft. Myers, and Mrs. George Harrington, Odessa, Texas; one brother, John McDonald, Wren, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Lucretia Bagett, Thomson; 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Shannon Chapel with the Rev. Walter Kufeldt officciating. Burial will be in Fogartyville Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Rapone, Joe Potter, Bill Thomas, W. H. Hefner, Council Smith, and Capers Smith."
