NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY – 06/24/1960
Donald Charles McDonald, 42, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Hospital following a brief illness. He lived at 2416 Green Valley Road. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the Army in the South Pacific. He had been an employee of the Ford Motor Co. in Louisville for the past seven years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member of the men's club of that church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lorene Brockman McDonald; four sons, Alan, Kevin, Douglas and Brian, and a daughter, Janet McDonald, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore W. McDonald, and a grandfather, Charles Newhouse. Remains will be at the Kraft Funeral Home after 5:30 p.m. today, where arrangements are pending.

Funeral services for Donald Charles McDonald, 42, will be Monday at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, and burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery. The members of the Holy Name Society will recite the Rosary tonight at 7:30 in the Kraft Funeral Home.
