Mr. McDonald was a native of Hamilton County and lived most of his life in the Blackfoot Community. He graduated from Wellington High School, Wellington, Texas in 1927.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a farmer and cattleman.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby (Miller) McDonald; three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Pierce of Garland and Mrs. Nell Sims of Blackfoot Community; two brothers, Chester Albert McDonald of Edna and Albert Edwin McDonald of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Holmes of Blackfoot Community and Mrs. Beatrice Bethea of Dallas, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
