Adrian was fascinated with flying from childhood, and joined the Air Force at the earliest opportunity, becoming a pilot experienced in many types of airplanes. He, his wife Ramona, and their sons Greg, Bob, Mark and Steve lived in many foreign and domestic locations during his military career.

He built many residential homes in Santa Rosa, including the one in which he and his second wife lived. He co-owned a private airplane, and enjoyed flying friends and family to Lake Tahoe and other locations in the western states.

He is survived by his brother; his first wife; and their two sons; three stepchildren.
