Just wanted you to know I've been researching the place of death for Mary Frances McDermott McDonnell.
The best source I've found is she died at home in Humansville, Polk County, Missouri not California. I'll keep searching for more proof.
I know several family trees on Ancestry say Modesto, California. And that is where her husband Michael Seymore McDonnall died and is buried. They were married March 30, 1875 in Clark County, Missouri
They were living in Polk County, Missouri in 1900.
She died of heart failure on her way from the outhouse to the kitchen.

He married again after Mary Frances died, and his marriage was in St. Patrick, Clark, Missouri. Then they went to California.

Mary Frances McDermott McDonnell is daughter of:

James McDermott Jr 84971399
and
Ann Doyle McDermott 84971501

All three are buried in St. Patrick Cemetery

Thank you so much, we'll get our McDermott family linked eventually.

Mary McDermott McDonnell,
was living with her husband and children in Polk County, Missouri,
when the 1910 federal census was counted June 20, 1910

This again, is another reason that the information I have in family files which said she died in Polk County, Missouri August 1910) and was buried in Clark County, Missouri. Her widower married in Clark county before moving to California.

Thank you, if you have any questions regarding changing her death place to Missouri rather than California, please let me know and I'll try to give you other info.
