Diann Henline, 68, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Taylor House Hospice. Diann was born December 3, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa, to James "Don" and Ruby McDannel. She was a graduate of Southeast Polk High School and a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area. Diann, along with her husband, Arthur, was a member of Rising Sun Church of Christ. She was formerly employed by Hy-Vee in Altoona, Iowa.
Diann is survived by her husband of 49 years, Arthur; daughter, Jodi (David) Whisler; grandsons, Benjamin and Nathaniel; sister, Darlene (Glenn) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dale.
Services will be held at Rising Sun Church of Christ, 6390 Rising Sun Drive in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. There will be a visitation held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013. Funeral services for Diann will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 12. Burial will follow at Warren-Powers Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Diann.
