Diana Jane Armstrong, age 63 of Odessa peacefully left to be with her loving Father and Savior on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Jane was born September 05, 1943 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas to Walter Quentine and Mary Louise (Taylor) McDaniel.

A longtime resident of Odessa, Jane was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She was formerly employed by Ector County ISD.

Those left behind to cherish her love and memories are her three daughters, Andrea Veteto and husband, Freddie of Rockwall, Texas, Michelle Wilkins and husband, David of Spring, Texas and Shana Killian of Graford, Texas, her mother, Louise McDaniel of Odessa, one brother Sammy McDaniel and wife, Diane, of Monahans, her sister Mary Ellen Van Cleave, and her twin sister, June Blair both of Odessa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris Boulware of Carrolton, Texas, Chase Glidwell of Las Vegas, Nevada and Danielle, Lucas and Juliana Wilkins all of Spring, Texas.

Jane was preceded in death by her father, Walter McDaniel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2007 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Bible Baptist Church with Brother John Lyons officiating. Interment will be privately held at Monahans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Hospice or Hospice House of Odessa."
