Patricia Ann "Pat" Attaway was born January 25, 1953, in Hugo OK, the daughter of Clarence McDaniel and LaJuan (Davis) McDaniel, and died July 12, 2010, in Hugo. Pat lived most of her life in the Hugo area. She enjoyed flowers and gardening as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Pat married Joe Attaway on February 12, 1971, in Powderly TX. She graduated from Hugo High School in 1971 and worked as a Southwestern Bell Operator where she retired in 2002 and then worked at Choctaw Memorial Hospital since 2003.
Pat was preceded in death by her son Kevin Attaway in 1980 and granddaughter Shay'La Lennox in 2004.
She leaves her husband Joe Attaway of Hugo; son Shawn Attaway of Hugo; stepson Craig Attaway of Hugo; daughter Patty Attaway and L.C. Lennox, Jr., of Hugo; siblings Gary and Joyce McDaniel, Ken and Dawn McDaniel, and Annette McDaniel, all of Hugo; grandchildren Keyontre and Dai'quan Lennox, and Ashton and Weston Attaway, all of Hugo; and many other family members and friends.
