Patricia Anne ''Pat'' Carpenter, 71, of White Salmon, formerly of Bradley, died Sunday (Aug. 23, 1998) at Emanuel Hospital, Portland, Ore.
Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Iroquois County.
She was born Nov. 16, 1927 in Kankakee, the daughter of Jesse and Frances J. MacIntosh McCue.
Mrs. Carpenter was a 1944 graduate of Bradley High School.
Her husband, Harold ''Bob'' C. Carpenter, whom she married Sept. 1, 1946 in Bradley, died in 1984.
They relocated to Seattle, Wash.
Because of her husband's work, the couple lived in Iran 1972-79. They lived in Las Vegas from 1979 until his death in 1984.
She moved to White Salmon in 1985, where she worked for Sperry Supply and later SDS Lumber Company.
She served on many church boards and was a member of the PEO Sisterhood; and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are three daughters and one son-in-law, one brother and sister-in-law, three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, James and Gerald.
