"Patricia A. McCue, a retired social worker for Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern and area resident since 1969, died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Goshen. She was 62.

The daughter of the late Eugene P. McCue & Margaret Gilmartin McCue, she was born in Amityville, N.Y. on March 18, 1943.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe & a member of Friends of Hospice. She was a former nurse and social worker for Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties in Newburgh. She graduated from Fordham University Graduate School, Maryview Hospital School of Nursing, SUNY New Paltz, and Orange County Community College.

Survivors include her sons: David S. Manzi & wife Susan of Fort Myers, Fla. & Christopher T. Manzi & wife Karen of Monroe; daughter: Debra A. Szabo & husband Jozsef of Montgomery; brothers: Brian P. McCue of Bay Shore, N.Y., Michael T. McCue of Annandale, N.J. & Eugene F. McCue of Rockville Centre; sisters: Joan M. Casey of Pittsburgh, Pa., Margaret M. Nolan of Reading, Mass., Ann G. Spratt of Woodland Hills, Calif. & Moira C. McCabe of Jefferson, Maine; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Derrick Manzi.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 11 from 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 12 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe. The Rev. Jeffrey Maurer will officiate.

Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope.
