GOSHEN — Kathy Flora, 60, of Goshen, passed away at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at her home.
She was born Jan. 2, 1953, in Corbin, Ky., to Lawrence and Annie (Hampton) McCreary. She married James Flora on Jan. 20, 1970, in Lebanon, Va.
Kathy is survived by her husband, James Flora; daughters Janet Flora and Sondra Flora, both of Elkhart; siblings Jay (Betty) McCreary, Robert (Alta) McCreary, LeRoy McCreary, Denny (Faye) McCreary and Daniel (Chris) McCreary, all of Elkhart, Denver (Pattie) McCreary of Bristol, Charles (Donna) McCreary of Union, Mich., and Carolyn (Randall) Hinds of Las Vegas, Nev.; and granddaughter Jayla Nunemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Vernon McCreary.
Kathy worked at KMC Controls for 32 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Elkhart and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, and an hour prior to the funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Pastor Phil Byars will officiate. Burial is in Olive (West) Cemetery.
