Mrs. Margaret McCracken Brown, 85, or 207 First St., Bentleyville, died at her home unexpectedly of a coronary attack, last night at 8:15 o'clock.
She was born March 24, 1881, in Belfast, Ireland, a daughter of John and Sara Wright McCracken. She had resided in Bentleyville for 52 years. She was a member of Gospel Hall, Donora.
Her husband, Joseph L. Brown, Sr., died Dec 31, 1955.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dunning (Ivanore) Horn of Washington, and Mrs. George (Thyra) Grant of Fisher Heights, Monongahela; one son, Joseph L. Brown Jr., Bentleyville; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bell, Fisher Heights, Monongahela; Mrs. Sara Hosack, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Jennie Davies, Summersville, W. Va., and Mrs. Isobel Wolf, Fisher Heights, Monongahela; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
