Glen Hope - Mrs. Ida McCracken Baer, 76, widow of Samuel H. Baer, died at her home in Glen Hope Wednesday, June 7, at 7:20 p.m.
She was born in Kerrmoor April 5, 1874, a daughter of Fred McCracken and Mary Michaels.
The following children survive: Fred, Glen Hope; Mrs. Saul Confer, Snow Shoe; Mrs. Marin Wasickie, Glen Hope. One brother, Ed McCracken of Avis, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Baer was a school teacher for 17 years and was a member of the Marron Baptist Church.
Her grandson, Samuel E. Baer, stationed at Roswell, New Mexico, has been in the Air Force for three years.
Funeral services will be held from her home Saturday, June 10, at 2 p.m. Rev. Clarke Redmond and Rev. Amos Harnish will officiate and interment will be in the Crossroads Cemetery.
Friends may call at her home this evening and until time of the services on Saturday.
