Wilma (Gaines) McCoy, 56, Lawrence, died Sunday in her home. Born at Columbus,Ohio, to Le Roy and Ruth Gaines, she lived here 40 years. She was an accounting clerk for Western Electric Co.Inc. 24 years, retiring in 1979. A charter member of Lawrence Fire Department Auxiliary, Mrs. McCoy was a member of Lawrence United Methodist Church, Lawrence Homemakers and Telephone Pioneers of America. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Flanner and Buchanan Shadeland Mortuary, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. Survivors include her husband, Charles B. McCoy., two sons, Charles B. McCoy II(Joan) and James R. McCoy (Rebecca)and four granddaughters Shannon, Julia,Joyce and Crystal.
