Funeral services for Mackie J. "Sug" McCoy will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Chris Webb officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Miss McCoy was born Sept. 24, 1927, at Roosevelt, to the late Mack Door McCoy, who died in 1934, and Nellie Goodwin McCoy, who died in 1948.

She had lived in Ardmore most of her life. She was preceded in death by sisters, Rachel McCoy in 1925, and Dovie Robert in 1997; stepfather, Otto Ray, in 1961; and brother-in-law, Emmitt Orsack, in 1994.

She is survived by four brothers, Howard "Little Son" McCoy and his wife, Fontella of Buena Vista, Colo., and their children, Dan, Ben, Jane and Cindy; Hurl "Big Son" McCoy and his wife, Florene, of Lockney, Texas, and their children, Patricia, Virginia and David; Mendon "Tom" Ray and his wife, Jo, of Webb City, Mo., and their children, Deanna and Tommy; Thomas Ray of Bakersfield, Calif., and his children, Laquita and Rockey; two sisters, Norma "Dinky" Ammann of Ardmore, and her children, Tiwanna and Joe; Lorene Orsack of the home, and her children she helped raise, Geraldine Orsack Conatser and her husband, Pete, and their children, Wesley, Tippy, Trenton and Beverly; Maxine Orsack Miley and her husband, Howard, and their children, Brenda, Jimmy, Quintin, Mann, McGruder and Ava Miley; Gene Orsack and his wife, Jacque, of Burns Flat, and their children, Stacie, Cathy and Keri; and several nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be Emmet Clements, Wesley Conatser, Steve Wells, James Graves, Dean Muncrief and Terry Jones. Honorary bearers are Henry Pierce, June Bridgeman and Jerry Tibbs.
