Funeral service for Margaret M. Lott, 79, of Decatur will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steve Kelso officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Lott, who died Sunday, November 3, 2013, at her residence, was born April 8, 1934, in Madison County to James William McCormick and Flossie Mae Newby McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daniel Sharpe; and four sisters, Lillie Cox, Louise Roland, Marilyn McAbee and Delois Bates.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, David Lott; six sons, Kenneth Reeves(Tammy) of Goodwater, Berry Reeves (Luci) of Huntsville, James Sharpe (Lori) of Decatur, Michael Lott (Tammy) of Hartselle, Eric Lott of Decatur and Christopher Lott (Shannon) of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Deborah Allen (Larry) of Somerville, Renee Kellum of Cleveland, Ohio, and Lee Ann Baker of Manchester, Tenn.; one brother, Oakley McCormick of Huntsville; four sisters, Effie Osia (Bill) of Jasonville, Ind., Dorothy Peters (John) of Owensboro, Ky., Susie Williams (Roland) of Huntsville and Ruth Gowan (Calvin) of Duncanville, Texas; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family wishes to thank Shaun Terry and Brenda "Teresa" Harden for their loving care of our momma.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama or your favorite charity .
