Iva Ellen Hedgpeth, 93, Nixa, died Friday, Sept. 11, in Springfield Community Hospital. She was born July 12, 1899, the daughter of Linza and Anna McDaniel McConnell. She lived throughout her life in Nixa and was a member of Nixa Christian Church. Her husband, Roy T. Hedgpeth, and a son, Ward Hedgpeth, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Betty Hedgpeth, Nixa; five grandchildren, Beverly Loftis, Sandra Bryant, and Jerry, Linza and Terry Jim Hedgpeth; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Garrison, Springfield. Services were held Sunday, Sept. 13, in Calvary Bible Church, Nixa, under the direction of Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph M. Fahl officiating. Music was provided by Rev. and Mrs. Fahl.
