Miss Charlotte McConnell of this place died at the home of her niece in Allegheny on Monday morning, December 21, 1903, at an advanced age. Miss McConnell went to the city about two weeks ago. She was a sister of the late Thomas W., James and Phoebe McConnell of this place. For some 25 to 30 years Charlotte McConnell was a domestic in the family of the late Rev. Dr. William Ewing. She was a member of the Greenside Avenue United Presbyterian church, and was a woman highly respected. The remains will be brought to this place on one of the evening trains today and will be laid to rest in the Speer Spring cemetery , but the time of the funeral has not yet been decided upon and., will, be announced later.
