Christine McClure, 87, formerly of Green Street, a current resident at the Riverside Rest Home since 2009, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover.

Christine was born on May 13, 1925 in North Berwick, Maine; the daughter of Rodney J.M. and Maude Ella (Bennett) Littlefield. She graduated from North Berwick High School.

Christine was a long time member of the Bethel Community Church in North Berwick, Maine. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, loved to cook for everyone, she loved to go out on the town dancing.

She was an auxiliary member of the Morgan Stanley ~ Smith Barney organization. Christine worked for D'Arcy's Wood Manufacturing and then she was a cashier for Marketbasket in Dover for many years until retirement.

Christine is survived by her nephews, Craig Court of North Berwick, Maine and Tracy Court and his wife, Linda in Milton; and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Ted Snow and her second husband, Ralph E. McClure; her brothers and sisters, Stella, Dynamite, Bertha, Stanley and Chris.

Flowers are welcome; memorial donations may be made in Christine's name to: Bethel Christian Community Church, 129 Lower Main Street, North Berwick, Maine 03906.

A funeral service will be held at 12Noon on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, N.H. with Pastor Robert Cole, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at New Town Cemetery in Rollinsford.
