VIRGINIA OBITUARY, John Atkinson McCaw. Special Dispatch to the Baltimore Sun. Winchester, Va., April 21. The funeral of Mr. John Atkinson McCaw, of Winchester, who died In the Polyclinic Hospital, New York, on Saturday night from an operation, took place from the Presbyterian Church here this afternoon. Rev. Dr. James R. Graham and Rev. Dr.; A. C. Hopkins, of Charlestown, an uncle of Mr. McCaw, officiated.
Mr. McCaw was a son of Mrs. Juliet A. McCaw and the late Thomas D. McCaw, a former prominent merchant, and was a member of an honored Virginia family His grandfather was Rev. D. William Mayo Atkinson, one of the pioneers of Presbyterianism In Winchester, One of the first pastors of Kent Street Church, this city, and a leading divine in the Virginia Synod. Mr. McCaw was 34 years of age and a widower. One brother, Mr. T. D. McCaw, of Washington, D. C, and his mother survive him. He was a relative of-the Atkinson family of Baltimore.
