Mrs. Parker Hobbs. 58. of 515 Wadsworth. died suddenly late Tuesday afternoon at her home.

Gladys MeCaw was born November 12, 1902, at Whitedale, and when a small child came to this
city with her parents where she had since resided. For many years she was employed at the M.J. Macintosh Company. In November 12, 1927, she was united in marriage to Parker Hobbs.

Surviving are her husband: four sisters, Mrs. Ted (Julia) Cox of Daytona Beach, Florida, Mrs. Edmond (Annabelle) Kettles of Port Orange, Florida, and Mrs. Lawrence (Alberta) Cavitch and Mrs. Betty Eckersen, both of Traverse City; two brothers. Charles A. and Leo M. of Traverse City; and several nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Reynolds funeral home with Dr. Howard Towne of the First Congregational church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery (Traverse City Record Eagle, 18 October 1961, p. 3:5).
