Mrs. W. C. Hendricks 81, 204 E. Adams, died at 7:20 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient the past three weeks.
Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry D. Yancey officating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill cemetery in Birmingham.
Mary Grace Hendricks was born December 13, 1892 at Morning Sun. She was the daughter of James and Rebecca Peel McCaw. Her marriage to W. C. Hendricks took place December 13, 1909. He died August 11, 1970.
Mrs. Hendricks spent most of her life in the Fairfield Community and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert Smith, Birmingham; Mrs. Verne Hix, Overland Park, Kansas; and Mrs. Dale Hoddman, Keosauqua; four sons Dale, Fairfield; Wayne, Buffalo, Missouri; Rex, now in Germany; and Billie, Davenport; also 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
