Nancy McCaw Cintron, 83, of Willoughby, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home in Breckenridge Village after a long illness.

Nancy was born July 13, 1929, in Kane, Pa., to the late Leona and Robert McCaw.

Nancy attended Rolf School in Johnsonburg, Pa., and graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School. She received her bachelor of arts and business at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., and later during her career completed a master's in education at Kent State University.

Nancy taught kindergarten in the Berkshire Local Schools for 30 years, serving the communities of Claridon and Burton. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church since 1959, serving as Deacon and Sunday school teacher. Nancy was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Geauga Retired Teachers Association, and the American Cancer Society.

In retirement, Nancy also volunteered at the Geauga Cancer Store, ushered at Cleveland Playhouse Square, delivered meals for Meals on Wheels and performed with the Mentor Follies Dance Group. Nancy enjoyed playing bridge and golf and was a member of several area bridge clubs and golf leagues.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Everett Cintron.

She is survived by her son, Robert Cintron (Janet) of Maumee; grandchildren, Alex Cintron and Ray Cintron; daughter, Sara Cintron Milo of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Barth Dubler (Jack) of Maumee; and dear friend and companion, George Wolfe of Tyrone, Pa.

A memorial service celebrating Nancy's life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Christ Presbyterian Church, 12419 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH 44026.

Nancy's family wishes to thank and acknowledge Nancy's many friends, neighbors and Visiting Angels for their visits, love and attention during her illness.
