Born in Luray, Mo., she was the daughter of Foster Carl and Mary Irene Howell McCarty. On May 1, 1937, she married James F. Adamson in Wyaconda, Mo. He died March 8, 1980.
Mrs. Adamson was a member of Full Gospel Church in Luray. She liked to read, work in her garden and can the produce she grew. She enjoyed volunteering at the Clark County Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Adamson of Birmingham and Larry Adamson of Kahoka; two daughters, Jeanie Ray of Luray and Mary Dieterich of Kahoka; 11 grandchildren; 30 great–grandchildren; two great–great–grandchildren; one sister, Cordonna Parrish of Kahoka; and nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter. The funeral was held at Vigen Memorial Home with the Rev. George LeMaster officiating. Family links: Spouse: James F. Adamson (1905 - 1980)* *Calculated relationship
