She married Ira Dennis Anderson August 22, 1931 and they had two sons, Michael and Dennis.

Virginia McCarty Anderson, 74, of Spanish Drive S., Longboat Key, died Friday (March 30, 1984) at home.
There will be no local visitation or services. Interment will be in Ohio. Brandenton Funderal Home is in charge.
Born in Frankfort, Ind., Mrs. Anderson came to this area from Evanston, Ill, in 1976.
She is survived by her husband, Ira Dennis; two sons, Michael, of Ramsey, N.J. and Dennis of Bowling Green, Ohio, and two granddaughters.
Longboat Key is a town in Manatee and Sarasota counties along the central west coast of Florida.
