Mrs. Berger, a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, had worked for Janesville Cotton Mills and City Cab. Surviving are two sons, Ronald of Dryden, MI and Richard of South Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Joan (Keith) Long of Milford, UT, and Mrs. Jacqueline (Allan) Behling of Evansville; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters Miss Vivian McCarthy and Mrs. Charles Balas, both of Janesville; and a stepbrother, Otto Buggs of Janesville.
