He married Inga Mae Beustad about 1902.
1920 they were enumerated in Spokane, Spokane County, WA. His father was born in Ohio and his mother was born in Wisconsin.
The McCanns moved to Lacrosse about 1932 where he had a business.
Death was due to a blood clot in the heart due to varicose veins in his legs and he died suddenly at his home in Lacrosse, Whitman County, WA.
His funeral was held at the Lacrosse Methodist Church. His was member of the Masonic Order who conducted his funeral with Masonic rites at the cemetery.
