Ralph McCall Dies Suddenly in California -- SLIGO - Ralph McClellan McCall, 36, died suddenly Thursday in Costa Mesa, Calif. Mr. McCall was formerly of Clarion County. He was born September 21, 1927, in Toby Township, Clarion County, the son of Guy and Hazel Bashline McCall. Mr. McCall graduated from Sligo High School in 1945 and served two years with the US Navy during World War II. In 1955, he moved to California where he was employed at the Cannon Electric Co. He was a member of the Costa Mesa Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, the former Norma Stephens, his parents, three sons, Lonnis, Dale, Dennis Lee and Gregory Carl, all at home; five sisters, Mrs. Fenton (Kathryn) Wyncoop and Mrs. Charles (Mary) Cunningham, both of Clarion, Mrs. Harry (Virginia) Curll of Sligo, Mrs. Arthur (Guyla) Magness of New Bethlehem RD and Mrs. Arnold (Helen) Schrecengost of Luncinda RD. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Interment will be in the Rimersburg Cemetery. Source: Derrick, Saturday 9/5/1964.
