Mrs. Ida Clay, 74, of 215 Mill street, Monroeville, died at 12:50 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's hospital, Fort Wayne, where she had been a patient for six days.
Mrs. Clay was a member of the Monroeville United Methodist church and the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are two sons, Dick and Milo Clay, both of Monroeville; five daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Roussi and Mrs. Catherine Ruble, both of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Lela Skiles of Walkertown, and Mrs. Imogene Grabner and Mrs. Gerald Norris both of Monroeville; two brothers, Ira McBride of Decatur and Edmond McBride of Auburn; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Marquart funeral home in Monroeville with Rev. Chester Mayflower officiating. Burial was in Monroeville Cemetery.
