Obituary - London Free Press - April 9, 2007

McAULEY McAuley, Marion (Husson), in her 80th year, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. She is survived by Donald, her best friend and loving husband of 57 years, and her children Gayle (Doug) Berry, Kathy (Barry) Kowalski, Paul (Marcy), and Rod. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Ryan, Kristen, Matthew, Jonathan, Greg, Stefanie, and Lanie. Marion graduated from London Normal School in 1946 and taught in Belmont, Byron, London and Ancaster, before ending her career in St. Catharines. She was an avid golfer, and member of the Niangara-on-the-Lake Golf Club. Winters were meant for curling, so she played at the St. Catharines Curling Club. The Blue Jays have lost a fan. She will be missed by her family, and many friends alike. Friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, April 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara Street, St. Catharines. A memorial service will be held for Marion Wednesday, April 11, 11 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 7 St. Columba Drive, St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Research, or FACS-Summer Smiles, will be greatly appreciated. VIEW Ad as seen in The London Free Press
