Longtime Farmington resident, Glennette M. Duncan, better known as "Toots" to family and friends, passed away Dec. 12, 2005, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. Toots was born May 8, 1933, in Collins, Mont., to Robert and Maude McAdam.
Toots lived and attended school in Cut Bank, Mont., with her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. In 1958, Toots and her husband, Douglas Duncan, moved to Farmington. Except for a few years in Tulsa, Okla., she lived out her life here.
Toots was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers, Robert and Lloyd; and a sister, Blanch Wadman.
She is survived by her brothers, Scotty McAdam and wife, Helen, of Mills, Wyo., Roy McAdam and wife, Martha, of Santa Rita, Mont., Charles McAdam and wife, Arlene, of Grand Junction, Colo., Don McAdam and wife, Helen, of Casper, Wyo., Max McAdam of Farmington, and Ted McAdam and wife, Mary Lou, of Grand Lake, Colo.; sisters, Mary Norton of Redding, Calif., Anna Blair of Riverton, Wyo., and Mona Arnott and husband, Paul, of Great Falls, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Toots will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home in Farmington, with Pastor Leroy Montoya officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
