Opal Inez Crocker, 88, of Tiptonville, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Tiptonville First Baptist Church.
Graveside services were Saturday at Tiptonville City Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Leon Crocker of Tiptonville; two stepdaughters, Addie Jane Shaw of Winchester, Ky., and Brenda Davis of Dresden; two sons, Carl Edward Howerton of Collins, Miss., and Dennis Ray Howerton of Dyersburg; two stepsons, Bobby Joe Crocker of Samburg and James Allen Crocker of Collierville; three sisters, Clarann Beatty of Belleville, Ill., and Pat Migneron and Betty Zankl, both of East St. Louis, Ill.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; her parents, Edward and Willie Mayo; and three brothers, Tommy Mayo, Jack Mayo and Clyde Mayo.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Tiptonville First Baptist Church.
