Lucille Mayhall was the daughter of Lonzo and Mylie (Douglas) Mayhall. She married Clarence Elden Buchanan, the son of Adam Newton and Callie Elizabeth (Fearheiley) Buchanan, on September 20, 1930 in Albion, Edwards County, Illinois.

Lucille Buchanan, 69, Albion, died at 9:43 p.m. Saturday in the Fairfield Hospital.

Services will be in the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion with Rev. Don Grimes presiding. Visitation will be in the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Buchanan was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Shawnee Town, the daughter of Lonzo and Mylie (Douglas) Mayhall. She married Clarence Buchanan Sept. 20, 1930 in Albion and he survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joan Knowles, West Salem; a brother, Charles Mayhall, Las Vegas, Nov.; a half-brother, Leonard Farichild, Witchita Falls, Texas; a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Sanders, Grayville; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
