Albertha J. Mayfield, 84, Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Rolling Hills Health Center. She was born December 14, 1925 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Jack Allen and Minnie (Carrel) Allen.
Albertha graduated from Topeka High School and Sticklers Business College. She worked for the Santa Fe Offices.
She married Sidney E. Mayfield in 1947 in Topeka. They were married for 62 years. He passed away in March 0f 2009.
Albertha and Sidney had one son, David (Maryanne), and one daughter, Karen Mayfield and her daughter, Sarah Emily, all of Portland, Oregon.
She is also survived by a sister Mary Lou (Ben) Neill, Jr.
