Cross Roads--July 4 __ Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Highland Methodist Church near here for Mrs. Vianna Mayfield, wife of Simon Mayfield, who died at her home near here, Monday, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Mayfield was born August 27, 1879 a daughter of the late Elizbeth and John Henry Jones. She is survived by her husband and the following children. Mrs. Pearl Blatt, Otis and Emmett Mayfield of Gallion, Ohio, Leo Mayfield of Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Bessie Taylor, Mrs. Opal Arthur and Mrs. Jesse King of Wadestown. Mrs. Marie King and Mrs. Ruby Mayfield at home. Burial was in the church cemetery.
