Mrs. Sarah Ann Mayer Lahman, 89, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Philo, three miles west of Luckey, and funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon.
Brief services will be held at the home of the daughter at 1:30p.m. Wednesday and will be followed by regular rites at the Webster U.B. church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Yagle, of Gibsonburg, will officiate.
She was born August 11, 1849, a daughter of Jacob and Lydia Mayer. She had been a resident of Wood county since she was 12 years old. On April 22, 1871, she was married to David Lahman, who preceded her in death 19 years ago.
Surviving are: five children, Mrs. Lucy Winch, of McClure; Mrs. Mary Philo, Dunbridge; Charles, of Jerry City; William, of VanBuren, and Harry Lahman of Bradner; 22 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A daughter died four years ago.
Dr. D.W. Philo, of Fremont, is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Mary Philo, a daughter.
