APPEL, Carmen M. Age 107, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her residence. Carmen was the oldest member of Beth Abraham Synagogue. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia & Max May, her beloved husband, Bert; and son-in-law, Charles Frydman. Carmen is survived by her daughter, Renate Frydman of Dayton; son, Brian W. Appel of Dayton; grandchildren, Joel & Angela Frydman, Farley & Linda Frydman; Charlotte & Bret Golden, and Melinda & Bill Doner; many great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren , other relatives & friends. Funeral service 2:00 PM Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Beth Abraham Synagogue, 305 Sugar Camp Circle with Rabbi Joshua Ginsberg and Cantor Andrea Raizen officiating. Interment Beth Abraham Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Beth Abraham Synagogue or The Hospice of Dayton in Carmen's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Home, North Main St. Chapel.
