Died a Clowser, husband Harrison Edward Clowser.
Mrs. Mamie DeHaven, 77, formerly of Winchester, died today in a Winchester nursing home. She had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Good of 8011 Candlewood Drive in Alexandria.
Mrs. DeHaven was born in Whitacre on June 16, 1895, the daughter of the late John and Altha Odetta Mauzy. She was the widow of Hayes DeHaven, who died in November 1949. She was a member of the Ebenezer Christian Church.
Surviving with Mrs. Good are three sons, Hayes DeHaven, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD., Holmes DeHaven of Berkeley Springs, W. VA., and Otis Stottlemyer of Winchester; a sister, Mrs. Mary DeHaven; a brother, Otis Mauzy of Gore; 18 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home by the Rev, Donald Scruggs.
Burial will be in the Mount Hebron Cemetery.
