BRECKINRIDGE HERALD NEWS OBITUARY – 1981
Mrs. Mary Frances Tucker, age 72, of Cloverport, died Friday, January 9, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. The daughter of the late Steve and Settie (Sallie Ann) Pipes Mattingly, she was born in Meade County on December 9, 1908. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Virginia) Harpe of Lewisport; two sons, James Tucker of Texas, and Donald Tucker of Louisville; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Morgan, Hardinsburg, Mrs. Ida Pate, Owensboro, and Mrs. Mattie Hanks, Stephensport; four brothers, Roy Mattingly and Johnnie Mattingly, both of Cloverport, Hewitt Mattingly, South Carolina, and James Mattingly, Dale, Ind. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, from the Cloverport Baptist Church, with the Rev. Truman Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Cloverport Cemetery under the direction of the Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home, Cloverport.
