He is survived by his wife of 29 years, three sons and daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, a brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Sabato and Mary (Messina) Matticola and a granddaughter Camryn Matticola.
Frank was a native of New Jersey. He was a Contract Manager for Gwinnett County Storm Water Department for over 10 years. Frank loved traveling and fine dining. He had been president/treasurer of the Central Gwinnett Baseball Booster Club.
A viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A Memorial Service to Honor and Celebrate the Life of Frank Matticola will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Rev. Thomas Johnson will officiate.
