Daisy E. Matthews, 82, of Foster, Boone County, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, in CAMC, Memorial Division. She was former owner of Matthews Grocery Store and a member of Rock Creek Church of Christ.
Surviving: sons, David and James of Foster; daughter, Pam Cabell of Foster; brothers, Juddie Hill of Charleston, Rex Hill of Roanoke, Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with George Toppings and Louie Watts officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Madison. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
